We are now offering kimchi workshops, where I will show you the secrets to making amazing kimchi for yourself at home. I will teach you the original Vegan Napa cabbage Kimchi with summer and winter version. 

You can choose your day and time.  Please send us email gingerspantry@gmail.com to arrange it. 

There is a chance other group of people can join as well. 

But maximum number of people will be 6. 

The usual location is  our Kitchen located on 25/74 Westpoint Drive Hobsonville. Workshops take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours & you will take home around 1kg of kimchi that you have made yourself and will show you how to use Kimchi for cooking purpose. 

We supply all the vegetables & equipment, all you need to bring is a container to take your kimchi home in and apron.

Wonderful workshop!

I've always wanted to learn how to make kimchi, and who better to learn off than the person that makes my favourite kimchi - Ginger. She was very thorough and patient, kind and thoughtful. So much easier seeing it in person and ensuring the right ingredients are used to get the best taste possible. Totally recommend!

I really enjoyed learning how to make summer and winter Kimchi. I have just made Kimchi pancakes with the last of my winter Kimchi! I hope to be making more soon when I buy the specific ingredients that you gave us on the morning.

A must-do for kimchi lovers

Ginger showed us so much more than you could learn from a video or a recipe. It was really great to go through the process of making Kimchi with Ginger and have the opportunity to ask questions. Everything was so well organised and it was very satisfying to come home with a large container of Kimchi, using two different techniques. The kimchi is absolutely delicious and I feel confident I’ll be able to make the next batch on my own.
